[Korea]
SEFF: Seoul Experimental Film Festival', which was held from August 24 to 29, 2004, was established as the first experimental film festival in Korea. The following year, the second film festival, which was held from September 7 to 12, 2005, has been expanded to the International Film Festival, renamed the "Experimental Film and Video Festival in Seoul" and continued to now.
Site, Revisited
It is a collection of works shown in the competition section of the Seoul International Experimental Film Festival for the past few years. Each work deals with or roam around a particular place. The place acquires a special presence, not just a background to a story. Attention is paid to the unique characteristics of each piece, but it is also carefully focused on the fine homogeneity of the work.

In the Instant of a Foreign Garden/ Im Go-en/ 2018, color and B&W, sound, 7min17sec/ HD
A magic circle where everything started-where they planted boundaries and exclusion, but dreams that were clearly inside and outgrew.
In this strange garden, where life and death are constantly crossing the line, she tells the story, not hers.
The History of Perception/ Paik Jongkwan/ 2018, color, sound, 26min/ HD
It’s getting dark.
When I stayed in Fukuoka for the artist residency program, I happened to discover an interesting ‘time’. A suspense that occurs among the characters can be transferred slowly or suddenly into the relationship between light, darkness and eyes. I imagine that in the time, multi-layered narratives intersect and flicker in the single stationary frame.
The Hunting Night/ Jang Eunju/ 2017, B&W, sound, 15min30sec/ HD
The Night come All Light disappear. Everyone lost their way, so it is great for hunting.
A Light line off everything while revealing the whole world. Therefore everything can’t move inch in oneself in the light.
This film is observation of space where a light was gone and darkness occupied and a cinematic record of use and utility of alight.
Manchuria2/ Cho Inhan/ 2017, B&W, sound, 7min31sec/ HD
This film is an attempt to create a sense of place of somewhere in Manchuria.
Sound and images excerpts from Manchurian action films and official photo documents of Manchuria areas are crossed to arouse sensory experiences.
Discarded Flower/ Jeon Junehyuck/ 2017, color, sound, 23min30sec/ HD
